Optimal Bit Selection

For soft to medium rock formations with high penetration rates, ballistic and semi-ballistic inserts combined with flat face or concave bit heads deliver superior performance. For hard to very hard rock formations, domed inserts with convex heads provide extended drill bit life and durability.
